We interrupt this knitting…

Well it was bound to happen. Sometimes Motherly duties must interrupt knitting progress.

Young Girl Who Loves Leggings needed a costume for a school event. So over the past week I’ve been busy sewing this outfit from Butterick pattern.

Today the students will be immersed into a One Room School House experience.

They have been reading Little House on the Prairie and last Friday they had a field trip to the Genesee Country Village & Museum that really helped prepare them for life in the 1800s.

This weekend I’m off to my favorite place in the world to be on Columbus Day weekend, Letchworth State Park!

There’s always beautiful colors this weekend, easy hiking, breathtaking waterfalls, and a fantastic Arts & Craft show.

Monday night is RKG’s October Meeting:

A Celebration of Elizabeth Zimmermann’s 100th Birthday.

There will be a handful of EZ inspired workshops. I’ll be teaching Un-idiotic Uses for I-Cord.
For other workshop details and homework see RKG website.
